Why do I have to enter a passcode to use my ipad terminal? Why was this changed?

I noticed square has recently "updated" their application again without regard to the user. Now a code must be entered to even use the POS. Square has moved from simple to complicated. Now I cannot not log out and keep others from accessing reports that I want private without setting up new codes and permissions for all of my employees. Why was this change needed?

Go to Dashboard > Account & Settings > Personal Information. You'll see the owner's code there. 

 

Use that code to enter into the POS. Once you're in, go to Settings > Security > disable Passcodes. You'll no longer be prompted to enter a code next time you login.
