Need to change email address but square states it already exists

I'm on the committe for a football club and am trying to change the email address to the club email. (Initially set the email as my personal one during set up of the square account), however square is saying the new email address already exists, this is not the case as the club as never used square before, I've also tried to use the club email during signing then pressing forgot password but nothing is coming through to the club email address to allow me to reset๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If there's an existing Square account created under the email address you're trying to change to, it's likely you've set one up in the past - our support team will be able to resolve this for you though!

 

For account security reasons you'll need to give them a call on 1800 760 137. Lines are open Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm Melbourne time ๐Ÿ‘
