The Square Time is 1 hour out, which is affecting our reports and time stamps

The clocks in Australia changed by 1 hour last week but Square continues to show the old time. We have set "Melbourne" as our time zone in the Preferences. Is this something Square need to change on their side? Please help asap since our reporting is being affected.

 

 

Please see the image with the Square time in the top left. You can see the Melbourne time on the phone + date taken.Time is out of sync

Hey @MullCafe,

 

I'm sorry to hear that trouble has brought you to the Seller Community! There are two places I'd recommend checking your time zone settings:

 

1. In your Square Dashboard, go to Account & Settings > Business Information > Locations. Click on your location and scroll down to Business Hours and select your time zone.

 

2. On your Square Terminal, tap More >Settings > Hardware > General. From here, you can either select "Set Time Automatically" or manually select your time zone. If you're in Melbourne, you'll want to Australian Eastern Daylight Time, rather than Australia Standard Eastern Time. 

 

Please let us know how you go adjusting these settings.
