Discount on prepaid appointments

I use the prepayment option on my website to eliminate/reduce no-show appointments.  I need to be able to provide a discount on services for specific clients, but I cannot get the discount to apply prior to confirming their appointment.  In other words, the customer is getting overcharged (unprofessional) and I have to issue a refund which square assess additional fees to.  This is hurting my business's brand as well as my bottom-line.

 

I see that this question has previously been asked back in 2018 and as recent as 9/2020, but the issue remains.  

 

Is there a way that I can provide online booking to customers, require prepayment, and discounts to my customers?
