square terminal and discounts

im using square for restaurants and some ppl like to pay at the table so we use the terminal.. ive notice an issue with discounts not transferring to the terminal

 

during happy hour we have some discounts running, the register and ipads will show the bill with discounts applied, but when pulling the bill up on the terminal some of the discounts are not there and it changes the final price.

 

why do only some discounts that are applied to bill not show up on terminal when other pos are showing the discounts applied
