Why cant i search an item using its description?

I advise Square to add a security password to protect any inventory adjustment. Currently,any person can just edit/change any item detail very easily. 

Square should also enable the square mobile pos app to search & find items using their various item description details. Currently, you can only search an item by its Item NAME. Enable item searching through what is contained in the item description.

If you'd like to restrict access to some functionalities of your account, I suggest having a look at Team Management. This software has tools to help you manage your team and set up custom permission sets to create multiple levels of access across your Dashboard and Point of Sale.

I can see how being able to search items with description keywords would enhance the Square POS app experience for sellers. I think it's a great idea, and I invite you to file a feature request on our Ideate page.
