link to category

I'm having trouble adding a link to a page. I've previously added a link to a category page with no issue but now when I try, it's not showing all my categories in the drop down. In the drop down it is showing a few categories and a few sub-categories.

I ended up adding an "external link" then pasting in the URL to the page I wanted from my site.

RESOLVED. I tried again this morning and typed in the category which I'm sure I tried yesterday and didn't work. Or maybe I didn't try that... I also cleared my cache last night, maybe that helped? Anyways it's working now.
