How do I save tickets with Square Register?

Hi there! Our business just got our Square Register in a couple days and i've been setting it up so its just plug and play when i hook it up at work, and i noticed something that could make or break this for us.

It seems that I cant save tickets anymore to have the customer pay after their service can concluded. Am i missing something? Is this just not a feature on this new device?

You can save tickets in the Register.  At the bottom of the item list on the right, the are two buttons side by side.  The left button is labeled Save, press that one to save the ticket.  When you have at least one saved ticket, that button will say Tickets and you press that one to recall your saved tickets.

you probably have to turn on open tickets for the option to save a ticket show up.  I know on an iPad you have to turn open tickets on in settings.  by default, it is turned off.

As usual, you are correct @VanKalkerFarms .  Here's how to turn on open tickets.

I guess I set it up on our system and then forgot that it had to be done.
