Is there a way to add a short description under the title of a category?

I would like to add a short description on each category page underneath the category title on the web store.

HI, the option to add text underneath the Category name is not available.

Is there a way to add text to the category page.  My categories are artists and I want to add a bio to their category page.
Or a link to the "story" that mentions them.

HI, the easy way is to add a page, add a section for either text only or text and image, add a section for Gallery.  That would create a page for each artist and display their art.
