How do I generate a receipt that shows zero dollars are owed

I need to generate a receipt that shows total owed, amount paid, and remaining balance (which after paid would be zero). How do I do this? I can't find a way on the website.

Hey there, @stewarjr - 

Welcome to the Community. 

You can always create a transaction or invoice for the amount owed, then apply a 100% discount since they already paid. Then, you will be able to send it to them via email.
