My Square Appointment booking site rescheduled a client on my behalf smack during another appointment with another client. What gives?

This may have been a glitch...but also check to see if you have the Square Virtual Assistant option turned on and set up.  Because this will help and allow clients to re-book as well through just confirming texts.
