How do I get my free square magstripe reader? I registered account but never was sent to the screen for the free magstripe reader. When I went to the shop to order one, it is showing I am having to pay for it? Are they not free?

Go to squareup.com. Click on Shop. Then click on “Reader for Magstripe.” This screen will appear. Note the instructions circled in red. Just add it to the cart, and head to checkout where the discount will be automatically applied. Yes, they are $10 after your first free one. That’s why they put that note in that blue box to explain how it works.

I was never given that option it wants my card information to process the purchase. And I never got one before nor order one before.
