Square Online does not synchronize customers with Square Directory

I'm tremendously surprised that the customer data from our Square Online orders is not flowing to the square customer directory. This is a fundamental flaw of the platform, and I wish I had known about it before I invested in migrating my site over from wordpress/woocomerce. Obviously, I think yal need to correct this as soon as possible.

 

My current workaround is to scrape details from the notification emails using Zapier and then load them into the directory that way. I've loaded the historic data CSV export (which by the way, is formatted terribly, separate complaint).
