Promo code feature not working with new open tab function??

Does anyone have any insight on when they promo code/gift card feature will be added to the open tab function for the QR codes? It worked just fine before we switched to "Open Tabs" now it's unavailable and customers are getting upset when we're trying to give them discounts and they can't enter them in.

This is not a function at the moment, but it is on the roadmap. I don't have an eta to provide at this time, unfortunately, but if I hear of any updates I can post back here on this thread.
