Feature Request: Coupon clarity for free items

Hello,

 

We sent out a free item coupon recently, and customers have been using it without first putting the item in the cart. On the email order confirmation, we can see that they entered the coupon.
 
But on the printed receipt, the coupon does not show up.
 
So the customer is expecting their free item, but our employees don't know about it since it's only appearing on the email receipt rather than the printed one. Could you ask your team to include coupons used (even if they're $0) on the printed receipt?
 
If this is something I need to do from settings on my end, I'd appreciate any instruction on how to do that.
 
As a follow-up to the above hopefully straightforward request, it would be good if when the customer applied the coupon, it automatically added the free item to the cart, or alternatively, told them that they should add the item in order for the coupon to be applied.
