We mentioned this on another thread but want to help insure that anyone who might have a need for this functionality is more likely to see it.

We built a solution for Food trucks Order management with texting for all order types. Shows all Orders entered at the POS and online, Shows To Do, All day list and completed orders views. Ticket timers. Zoom on order details and send preset text messages.  We use it in our truck ( SerialGrillersLLC ) along with the Square POS, Complete details are at www.grubuzzer.com  Software 100% Written and maintained in the USA. Presently for US Phone number texting only. Not for Restaurants with open tickets! Free trial.

We also made it cheap to use, $10/mo & $20/1000 text messages. messages roll over. No commitments. We wanted to make it cheaper but the Server and transaction costs do get in the way!

While we designed Grubuzzer for food trucks, there has been interest from fixed location walk up restaurants with order and pickup windows which have an order flow like a food truck. Like a lobster shack, where you can get 10-20+ orders deep in the rush and need to keep orders sorted out for the pickup window. We don't see our customers sales or their customer's data (part of our privacy commitment) so we don't actually know what our customers use it for.

We added a feature to the Order Zoom window (looking at an individual customer order) to show how many times this customer made a purchase over the past 3 months and what the total $ for that time was (only works if there  is a Square customer though). That gives the person handing out the order a reminder about who the higher volume customers are.
