One location, two devices. Different default fulfillment options

Hello,

 

I have two devices at one location and am using Square KDS. The default fulfillment option is To-Go for the location so both POS units default to this. One is placed for the front counter and the other for drive-thru. 

 

As of now the To Go does not show up on top of a ticket on the KDS. Drive-Thru shows up if and only if we change it to it. To-Go does not even show up if we cycle the fulfillment options before the order.

 

What I want is for the drive-thru to always default to say Drive-thru on the top of the KDS ticket and Front Counter for inside. 

 

I have tried utilizing device codes with names but they don't show up. 

 

Edit to add: The only thing I can think to do is add two new team members one named front end and the other named drive-thru. then log in with the respective one on each POS. The name of whomever is logged in does show up on the KDS. Seems an asinine way to go about this though.

Hey there @withRapture at this time this is a limitation on the KDS. I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request. 

 

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

 

In the meantime, and while not so convenient, your idea would be a valid workaround.
