Pick up orders are being switched to shipping at checkout

I've tested this out myself and am receiving the same bug that customers are getting. Pick up is clearly the fulfilment option selected prior to clicking on checkout. Once checkout has been clicked, the order page switches it to shipping and asks for shipping info & method.

 

We are having regular customers who just buy shipping each time and then message us to refund the shipping cost. It's creating such a mess for us. Any advice here?

In order to make sure i'm understanding, what website builder did you use to create your site (Wix, Weebly, GoDaddy, WooCommerce etc.); also, can you provide the URL to your website/page? If you have a screenshot or video of this, we would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
