We have a consumer who is not one of our patrons receive a digital receipt via text. It says it came from our business, but I cannot find a transaction for the amount of the receipt. So the first question is why did she receive a receipt in the first place since she is not a patron, and secondly, how could a receipt be associated with our business and I not be able to find it? I am truly perplexed. Any ideas would be appreciated.

For your first question, it's very possible that a customer mistyped their cell phone number when requesting a receipt, and that wrong number was some random person's number so they received the receipt.
For #2 - that one is definitely strange - if the receipt came from your business, you should definitely be able to find the associated transaction through your Transaction page, either by scrolling through to find that day & time, or by searching by the Receipt # or Phone Number
