My printer died after over a year. Anyone else experience this?

My Internet receipt printer just died after over a year of usage. It was not dropped. Just dead completely one morning. I wonder if more than one experience this issue with Square hardware?

This is not normal, nor is it Square hardware.  Star and Epson make good printers and I have worked with them for years.  Can't say I had one die after just a year.  If there is no power at all I would check the cable and connection.  If it works but doesn't print I would make sure you have the correct paper (thermal?) and that it is installed correctly.
