No sale without a register

I keep seeing no sale in my transactions report. I read that it might be a way to open the cash register. My problem is we’re using our contactless & chip reader through our mobile device & it isn’t connected/linked to a register. So what could the no sale mean in this case?

Hi there, @Guz05! Thanks for taking the time to ask your question here on the Seller Community! Welcome! We are so happy to have you.

So sorry for the confusion here. While "No Sale" can refer to a recorded drawer-opening for cash drawer transparency, our Point of Sale software also records a no sale when items are added to a sale and then that sale is cancelled.

We also record a no sale whenever the "charge" confirmation is selected with $0.00 during a current sale. This is probably the most common occurrence of the "No Sale" reporting due to the charge button pressed accidentally.

I hope this clears up any lingering confusion! Let me know if you have any questions - I am here to help.
