When I try to accept credit cards for my square to be able to work it says authorization failed?

When I try to accept credit cards on my iphone for my square to be able to work it says authorization failed or authorization error even after I have entered all of my information correctly. I need feedback as soon as possible! I have costomers waiting and I have called the company multiple times for help and no one has gotten back to me! Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the trouble! 

 

While I can't be certain, it sounds like you might need to double check the account that you are logged in to on your iPhone. It's possible that you may have started the process of creating a new account, when you probably just want to use the account you already have.

 

If you go to "Settings" inside the Square Register App, you can tap "Sign Out" in the top right corner. Once you return to the main screen, just select the second option "Sign In." It's also a good idea to make sure you don't have any app updates available in the App Store.
