I accidently cancelled an invoice that was paid. How do I get it back?

I accidently canceled an invoice that was paid.  How do I correct this and have it read paid again?

Thanks for reaching out!

 

You shouldn't actually be able to cancel an invoice that has already been paid - are you sure the customer made the payment on the specific invoice prior to cancelling? The way it should should be:

 

- If the invoice is not paid it can be cancelled

- If the invoice has been paid it cannot be cancelled, but it can be refunded

 

In either case the solution would be to simply issue a new invoice!
