It's not going to look good towards customers, also I doubt there is any clean way of charging the fee to customers short or artificially raising your tax rate.
I'd suggest finding other ways to cut costs, customers are savvy and shop enough Square sellers to know that they are being charged something 99% of other businesses won't charge them.
