How do refunds work while waiting for bank authentication?

Hey! I just joined square and I took a few orders last night, and one of my clients decided to change their order. So I’m still waiting for bank authentication, but want to refund the items ASAP. Does that refund come out of my account? Or does it come out of the pending deposits??

it will come back out of your pending deposits first and if there isn't enough then it goes to your bank.  so in your situation, you'll be fine since the transaction hasn't been deposited.
