How long does it take to get the card reader when you sign up?

Have you activated your account and had your linked bank account verified by Square?  Your free reader won't be sent until both of those are done.  Once they are done, you still need to request the reader through the Dashboard or Square's online store.  As long as this is the first reader you have requested under your account, the reader will be sent free of charge.  It can take up to five business days for your account to be verified, then once the reader is shipped, it could be another business week depending on how far it has to be shipped.

So it has been about since they said my reader was sent does it usually take this long it went from california to texas and now back to california, I live in washington
