You can do this in the Discounts section on a computer.
Go to Discounts>Create Discount>Fill out a name and amount
Turn on Automatic Discounts and select Item and Category, Click Done.
Add eligible items or categories and set a schedule if you want.
Be sure to hit Save and viola, all done.
Hope this helps!

Hey @PD2020,
Here's a Support Center article that goes over Item Settings and placing items on sale.
Here's a Support Center article that goes over how to set up Coupon Codes in your Online Store.

You would do that in your online store setting. Go to edit the item and then right next to where you would change the price there would be a sale price box. That will automatically change the sale price online. When you wanted the sale to end, you would need to change it manually again. It won't change the item price in store if you had that as an option. When I need online and in store at the same time, I'll change the price on the online store like how I described, and then set up a discount code to automatically apply on the square register. That part is changed in the square dashboard.
Can you only set sales for upgraded membership? I only have the free version and can’t figure out how to have a “online sale”
