How do I change my regular business hours?

I need help adjusting my regular business hours so everyday and week is set on the same schedule for every. I can only change it day by day and well I have no time for that. Please help no other thread gave me the correct answer I need help asap.

Hello @Mthurston and @rjh1

 

I'm sorry that the both of you have been having trouble with adjusting your business hours. You can adjust this setting on your Square Dashboard. Once you login to your Dashboard head to Account & Settings > Business > Locations > Select the location you wish to adjust. On this new page if you scroll down you will see the option to edit your business hours. 

 

You'll see Monday - Sunday and any time that you set will be your business hours going forward for that day. 

 

You can also find the steps under Manage Multiple Locations with Square.

Go to your dashboard, go to 'settings'

 then click 'account and settings', then 'business information', find and click 'locations', then click on the location you want to change. It will be the only information on the page and highlighted. (multiple if you have more then one location)  Click on the one you want and you should be able to scroll down in the screen to change business hours.  If you only have one it will be the only one there. 

 

It would be really helpful if directions used the exact same verbiage of the screens. It rarely never does.

Thanks. But it was a lot easier than I thought. I just went to my square appointment app and hit the 3 dots at the top right. From there I went to recurring schedule and changed my hours easier with less steps. Besides I could make one time changes there too which is excellent!

I've changed my business hours to 7pm yet clients are still able to book to my old hours of 9pm. How can I fix this?

I need my daily business hours to be 5:30AM - 9PM every day...how can I reset this all at once?

Click here to go to the page where you specify your business hours.  Scroll down until you get to the section labeled Business Hours.  Here you can set which days you're open and the hours that you're open each day.

Instead of trying to link it again, here's what you need to do:

From your PC Dashboard, click Account & Settings, then Business, then Locations.  If you have more than one location, click the appropriate one, then scroll down to the Business Hours section, and you're where you need to be.

Any suggestions on how to get our default schedule to actually work? I've been able to change my default business hours. But then when I go into the actual appointment calendar and try to get it to update my schedule to the new default I click on the reset to default button and it does nothing. I've tried dozens of times. So then I take out the hours completely on the appointment schedule and click it hoping it fills in the right one and it fills in the old one. Then I go back to the default schedule and check to make sure it saved the new default and it did. I've waited overnight, a few days, a few weeks. Nothing is working. I'm manually go into each week and updating....

This definitely sounds weird. I think it'd be best to contact our Appointments specialists directly to take a closer look at your setup with you and to make sure nothing is buggy here.

So I would go to account settings and business location settings and try and change my hours, but it wouldn't show up with my default hours so make sure your STAFF setting hours are the same! that fixed my problem.

I have changed my hours in Settings/Locations, but it does not reflect on the website correctly.  At the bottom of our website we have Location and Hours and it reflects hours that are incorrect.  Anyone know where to edit the hours that the website designer is drawing its data from?
