Square should take more caution to block W2s being sent to the government that are incomplete! My payroll history did not transfer, yet they sent the incorrect W2s anyway. I missed an email from 9/23/21 about "missing payroll information." No other contact was made to get the correct information. This will result in amendment fees to correct these. Many others have called to complain about this. There is a better way to handle this to protect your clients! I've submitted my requests to the amendment team and am waiting to hear back, they say it could to TWENTY DAYS to hear a response.
