I have a domain registered with another site (register.com). I've contacted them and pointed my domain to my Square site, but it isn't recognizing it. It's been over 72 hours. How can I fix this?

HI, need a bit more information to hopefully help. Did you point your domain with a Redirect? adjust DNS settings? or did a full transfer? Do you have a free Square Online plan or paid?

I adjusted my A records to point to the IP address of my Square site. I have a paid Square plan. I didn't do a full transfer, just a redirect.

HI, thanks for the information. Pointing a domain or Redirect will continue to show the .square.site URL of your store. Since you are on the paid plan, you can adjust the DNS settings and it will become a .com.
If you still wish to point or redirect, on your domain provider, under manage its Source URL to destination URL (meaning whatever.com to whatever.square.site). No need to adjust A Record.

How do I adjust the DNS settings in Square? I've tried several times and it keeps pointing me back to where my domain is registered.

Yes, I've gone through this several times. Instead of saying "Connect" it says "Got It". It does not appear Square is recognizing the change I've made with my domain host.

HI, that does sound strange. Your domain is with Register.com. Can you send a screenshot of the Manage Domain area?

I was able to get it resolved by contacting technical support. There was something going on behind the scenes that I was unable to resolve on my side. I appreciate all your help!
