Square for Retail: Can I put items into 2 categories or add brands to items?

I'd love to be able to put items into 2+ categories (such as "brand name"  and "type of item" (as in "shirt" "clothing") for reporting purposes. Is square going to add such a feature?

I checked to see if there is any information to share around this feature request, but unfortunately I don't have any updates to give. I'll be sure to flag this to our Retail product team so they can continue to track the need for this feature!

I agree with the need for this feature!  

Being able to apply multiple categories to items would be very beneficial!  Should also allow filtering through the different categories in the inventory library as well.  Filtering variations of items would help too.  For instance, for a clothing business to be able to filter through their library to see how many pieces they have in size small on hand.

An inventory aging report would be huge as well.
