The Checkout API documentation states that I should retrieve the transaction when the user is redirected back to our site after checking out. When I do that, I receive an error every time. It appears that the transaction does not actually exist until a few seconds after the user is redirected. Is that to be expected?
If it is expected, then the documentation needs to be updated to reflect that.
If it's not, then please let me know what I could be doing wrong.
More detailed information about the issue can be found here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/49436632/square-transaction-not-found-after-successful-checkout
Hello @AOD! It looks like an API specialist was already able to follow up in the Stackflow post you shared to confirm that you have to wait a few seconds after the user is redirected to retrieve the transaction.
Thanks for your feedback about the documentation too!
