When I ordered my magstrip reader, I noticed that a copy of my purchase went to one of my email accounts that was not the one I have listed on my dashboard, why? And how do I keep this from happening?

Hello @Curious101! When you order a reader and select 'Guest checkout' or Sign In you have the option to edit the email address field — and you aren't required to enter the email address associated to your Square account. Could your web broswer settings have automatically prefilled your other email address? Square readers are universal and aren't tied to your account or email address, the email address entered at checkout is only so we can send you your receipt.
If you order additional hardware in future can you keep an eye on which email address is added in the checkout field? If the wrong email address is populated let me know here or call our CS team directly so we can investigate.
