Nexus 10 and chip reader

Hello,

   I’ve got a Samsung Nexus 10 tablet running the latest Android OS. When I attempt to connect my chip reader there is no blue “Add a reader” button in the Square POS setting tab. The chip reader also doesn’t show up in the Bluetooth devices for the tablet.

I've been able to connect the reader to my iPhone 10 and my bar manager’s android phone. The tablet has recognized the headphone jack swipe reader with no issues.

Is this a “tablet too old” issue? Or some other problem?

I looked up this tablet on our Compatibility page and it doesn't show on there at all which means it's not a supported device with any of our readers. They may work intermittently when they aren't tested yet but there's no guarantee they'll work. Especially with the chip reader. ☹️

We're always trying to make more devices compatible but I'd recommend checking that compatibility page above to see what devices you can use with it or use the iPhone again.
