Square Appointments and Google Calendar keep becoming unsynced

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: Google calendar sync

 

Square appointments and google calendar keep becoming unsynced. I have had to resync twice because my appointments stop showing up in my google calendar when they previously had after syncing. It’s like the sync only lasts for a certain amount of time before it has to be reestablished. Any idea what’s going on here?

@ccotenh That's strange, we haven't heard of this in the Community before. Have you tried these sync troubleshooting steps? If those don't do the trick go ahead and make note of the browser you're using and give us a call. An Appointments specialist will be able to help you further.

The appointments calendar is not syncing between multiple devices even though they are all logged in to the same account.

@Superiormobile Can you run through the troubleshooting steps I shared in this thread today? You might also call our team in the morning - it's definitely odd that the Calendar isn't syncing today and we'd like to investigate.

Ugh, I tried all these troubleshooting things. Even though my calendar is synced, dates I’m entering into my google calendar as being busy are showing up as available on my Square booking page.

So sorry to hear about this. It sounds really frustrating, and like something that needs to be investigated a bit further. I'm going to open up a support ticket to our Customer Success team so they can help.

I’m having the same exact issue. This will be going on 3 times i keep having to re-sync my google calendar in the past year. it’s getting frustrating because i don’t notice my personal events aren’t being blocked off until once after a customer has already booked into one of my busy time slots already i need help!

Can you give our Appointments team a call? They might have some more information regarding this issue and be able to help troubleshoot if necessary.
