new invoice alert gone?

I have been sending recurring invoices to a client for 2 years. previously square emailed me an alert when:

1) the recurring invoice went out "New invoice" 

2) when it was paid "Invoice Paid"

 

Now I only get the Invoice Paid message. Did something change? I would really like the alert when the invoice first goes out. Thank you

I just checked on this for you and it looks like the New Invoice emails are sending properly. 

 

Have you checked your spam folder? It could be getting filtered out. The email should be sent from invoicing@messaging.squareup.com, so try adding that email to your contact list to see if that helps.
