When customers come in the salon it would be nicer to check in digitally

WOW! This would be a great idea. 

 I would like to expand why it would be a great feature for our salon. We have clients currently come in and tell us their name, we look at our dashboard and see who they are with. We ask clients to have a seat.  Our coordinator has to go to the back to let the tech know their client is here. 

Situations: the coordinator is on the phone and can't leave the desk.  If the tech saw the check in then they could go and great the client themselves without our coordinator having to go to the break room.  ( we don't want 6 people standing at the front desk when a client walks in)

This would also help us know when clients come in, such as if they were late or early. This would also help incase a client comes in and wasn't greeted/ somehow we didn't realize they were there when a coord can't tell a tech yet.

This would be reduce paper cluster - easier to manage who signed in or not and remembrance customer as well , also preventing the aggravation of customers feeling being skipped- in the salon industry I really highly recommend this service - check out the “fastboy marketing “ I’m sure Square can do better than that

Thank you ! It will be a great idea because most of POS service came out pass couple years has that especially Asian community to help them out with salon and restaurant. I’m a square loyalty customers I love the ideas of them but I don’t leave square 😁

There should be an option on appointments to show who has arrived and is checked in but not yet completed their service.

Yes, we need be able to click a button, "checked-in" (just like we can mark "no show" and "cacel appt") so that we know who came for their appt since I make appts for clients from another location,  not at my shop , and if my front desk person can confirm a person has arrived, I can know if I can fill in an open spot due to a no show as I continue to get customers calling for requests for same day appts.
