Add to cart Desktop vs Mobile - Square Online

Anyone else run into issues of people not knowing they actually added an item to a cart when on the desktop version of the website?

 

Mobile view is great because you end up with a button at the bottom that says "View Order"

BUT on Desktop it gets put in the shopping cart icon that in a lot of cases is not actually showing on the screen. So I have people thinking they have "signed up" for an event or they get stuck not knowing how to proceed and call us. 

 

In the Screenshot to follow I have already clicked Attend on the item and it brings me back to this screen with NO indication it's been "Added to Cart"

Would be nice to have a similar button hover at the bottom indicating where they can view their order on the desktop version.

 

Or am I missing something?

I did some more testing and on my other item types (in this case "Membership") they are creating a pop-up in the top-right corner on desktop.

BUT when I try one of our Event items there is no pop-up. So this seems to be related to only the "Event" Item Types.

We may have had this happen while Testing our site for a class.

 

Yesterday we were setting up our Class for Candle Making.  Went to check out the Appointments for the class to see if we liked it.  Then I looked from another device and saw 7 available.  Which struck me odd as we set this up for 8 seats for the class and did not put out the link yet.  So i was wondering how we had a sale of a Seat for the class but no Transacation.  Here through testing we had one in a Cart but never went through the complete purchase.   We still have things to edit, like refund policy and refunds for this.  We are just using the Free site to do these Class appointments and sales of the seats for the class as our other site host can not do classes.

@JJ_ I can confirm that I’ve seen this happening on the desktop side of my site as well. I’m not seeing the pop up box that used to appear when adding an item to the cart. Well, to be more exact, since the customer has already scrolled down past the header with the cart link in it, there’s no way to know the item was added to the cart. Im not entirely sure if the pop up is appearing since the page is scrolled down. Currently I have no events listed on my page so this is happening with regular sellable items. 
Also, probably related, the sticky header option is slightly broken. The header disappears while scrolling downwards, but reappears locked to the top of the screen as soon as the page is scrolled upwards. 
I’ve seen this behavior in Firefox on a Win10 machine and safari on my iPad.
