Customer file upload and attachments

We own a bakery, it would be really helpful if customers could submit pictures of their idea when purchasing online. Other online platforms have had this feature for years. Right now I use Jotform and process my sales with them because they have it available.

I own a salon & this would be a helpful feature.  I have clients send me inspiration photos for their hairstyles & nail designs.  I do this in order to better inform them on the services to choose during checkout.  Since I am an appointment only salon, it is crucial to get these photos, so that I may properly process their booking payments.  Please, it's 2024.  We already don't have booking flow integrated add-ons,  a way to book a single service multiple times in one visit,  & now this.  These seem to be rather basic features that other booking apps offer.  I am just so invested in Square, my clients have finally gotten the hang of how to operate majority of the functions to book their appointments.

is there any update to this feature request? I'm still a free member but would absolutely upgrade if this was an option. It would save me so much time instead of customers having to send a separate email to me with the photos.

I need this feature as well! I do many custom items (tumblers, tshirts, etc) and this would truly be helpful. Otherwise I'm having to have the customer email it separately. thank you

Any update this request to add an image upload function during the checkout process.  There seems to be a good number of folks who could use this.  I know I could.

I agree - I print custom decals, packaging, and branding stickers for businesses so the ability to upload their logos/QR codes is an essential part of my business.  I currently use Jotform, but their Upload form is bulky and I can't tie it directly to an order.  Here are the several limitations I've found using this partner:

• I can't customize exactly where on the page I want my file upload form to be.  Its at the bottom, and if an item has several customizations available that makes for an extremely long page.  Because of this, i've turned off my "Similar Items" as I couldn't move the File Upload to be above that. 
• I can't insert a custom page between ordering, or the cart page 
• I can't customize the cart page
• I did add a link to the top navigation of my home page, but that's a security risk where anyone can drop files in which can potentially damage my computer
• I did add a button to my "Item Confirmation" email - and you'd think that would be a great solution..... except the email subject is "Your Download Is Ready" and apparently that can't be changed in 2024 either....... SO FRUSTRATING at this process.  one step forward, two back. My site will be how my customers perceive my competence to do their work and square is not helping
