Instagram checkout: No Variations showing up

Has anyone else recently upgraded to the Instagram Checkout - connecting their Square website products to Instagram? I am happy with it but NONE of our product variations are showing up on the checkout. No sizes or colors or choices. I spoke to a rep for Meta on phone and they said it is a Square issue. Square, can you send them our variations? Companies with Shopify are having no issue with this. Or does anyone know how to fix this?
