Is there a way to limit sale of an item to 1 per day?

We sell charcuterie boards, some of which we only have a single board. Therefore we can only sell 1 of them per day. We need to have time to pick up the board and wash it before the next customer. Is there a way to limit the sell of an item to 1 per date?

I don't believe there is a feature or function to do what you have in mind - you could submit a Feature Request.   One possible work around would be to use the inventory item feature - set it for "1".  When the item sells, it cannot be sold again unless the inventory is manually updated.  We sell one of a kind items online so that's how we make sure that once an item is sold, no one else can try to purchase it.
