Hey Guys,
To present, I’ve only used Square for in-person sales.
I’m now looking at the online store options for Square. In particular, with the UPS shipping option for online sales. The listed plans only include one at $79 a month, that actually includes the UPS shipping calculator. So if I’m using the free version to start out, and someone orders in my online store, how do they, and I, know what their shipping cost will be when they checkout?
Does the checkout not show them their shipping costs amount is, based on where they are from, based on my location? And thus, calculate that costs?

HI, you need to determine your shipping costs to create your Shipping Profiles on your Online Dashboard.

Hi Terri,
So in looking at the links you’ve provided, and then the ‘Square Online’ store options, it looks as though the only way to get the ‘Real-Time Shipping’ feature is to pay $72 a month, or $864 annually, for the simple ability to see calculated shipping costs. Is that correct??
As a new small business that’s a bit of a deal-breaker. 😞
I agree. The fee is way too much for a small drink shop that just wants to sell a few merchandise items globally. Did you find another solution?
