Square Register stuck booting / updating

Every 2-3 weeks my Square Register is stuck on the boot screen when I enter my business. All I see are two white Square symbols on the main display and customer display. No amount of waiting, restarting, or powering off will remedy the issue. The only thing that works is performing an A/B rollback by holding the power button down for a long time until the system fully resets. Then I have to sign in and manually change all the settings and preferences back to my liking. The OS version always reverts to 

5.41.0085 and the app version is 6.23. Has anyone else had a similar issue? What are your versions?

 I think your best bet for support with this would be to call in and they can step through the update and also look at the logs to see what is happening.
