How to track an item with 2 different variations with 2 different inventory numbers?

I sell custom t-shirts through my online website.

I can't figure out how to track (t-shirt size/color + decals available on the same item)

For Instance:

Customer purchases a Large White T Shirt with Decal #1 on it.

I have 10 white t shirts and 5 decal #1s available.

How do I set an item up with multiple options that have a different inventory?

Right now I have the color of the t-shirt as the item and the size as the option, but can't figure out how to add decals.

Being able to have inventory counting ability on modifiers would be ideal.

HI, the listing would be the basic tee information.  You can track stock with Variations but not with Modifiers.

Variations for the feature that determines price to track stock.

Color Option Set (no track stock)

Decal Option Set (no track stock)

You can add each decal, color and size (every imaginable version) to track stock.

Decal #1, Blue, Small

Decal #1, Blue, Medium

Decal #1, Blue, Large

Decal #1, White, Small

Decal #1, White, Medium

Decal #1, White, Large

Hope This Helps!

If I only have 5 of decal 1 and 10 shirts in different sizes it won’t work that way.

decal #1 (5 in stock)

20 colors in 5 different sizes (2 of each size)

HI, right, I understand, it would show Out of Stock for the combinations that do not have inventory.

Hope This Helps!

There aren’t items like that that would be out of stock.
they are technically purchasing two items and I am making into one.

HI, ok, not sure what you mean by two items.  The two items being purchased determine price?  Can they be combined on a Variation?

Hope This Helps!
