Square Register Not keeping Internet Connection

My square register can't hold an internet connection. It used to run on the wifi fine but after my internet provided a new modem, the register won't hold a connection. It will connect for a second to the wifi and just drop it. I've tried wired connection too and drops that as well.

 

So far it's been okay on my hot spot but will drop it for what seems like inactivity.

 

I've checked, the software is up to date. I've restarted the internet, and the register. Any other solutions or is this a known issue?

I could recommend following our Troubleshooting steps for Square Register and seeing if this resolves your issue. 

 

If the Register continues to intermittently lose connectivity I would suggest reaching out to our Hardware team so they can get a Diagnostic Report from your device and share it with our specialists to see if this issue is local (something that could be causing this interference) or software/hardware related.
